About myself

I am currently Vice President at GIC Private Equity, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, focusing on Technology, Media and Telecom investments covering both funds and direct investments into companies.

Outside of work, I contribute as an Investment Committee member of SGInnovate, an organisation created by the Singapore government to invest in local startups and develop the local technology ecosystem.

Prior to GIC, I have worked at the Ministry of Finance as Head of Fiscal Planning and at the Ministry of Trade & Industry as a Senior Economist. I studied at Yale University (MA) and Cambridge University (BA).

In my spare time, I indulge my artistic side by playing the keyboard at local arts venues such as Artistry, Blujaz and the Esplanade and taking photographs – often of my family. I run a small project to encourage more face-to-face conversations called Project Feed.
